The eRx mobile application is specifically developed for issuing electronic prescriptions when a doctor does not have access to a computer with medical software or is working offline. Thanks to eRx, a doctor can issue an electronic prescription fully compliant with good medical practices, applicable laws, and NHIS requirements during home visits or emergency situations outside doctor's office.

  • SpeedDoctor's information is loaded automatically, and entry of patient data and prescriptions is fully optimized.
  • SecurityActivation of each mobile device is verified with doctor's qualified electronic signature (QES). After activation, additional biometric data protection can be enabled on the device.
  • ConvenienceMuch of the information in an electronic prescription comes pre-filled or is selected from lists, thus minimizing the need to type in letters or symbols. Prescription is done through the dynamic search of a medicine’s commercial name on a preloaded list of all officially registered medicines in Bulgaria and their forms.

  • Download for free the eRx app from the App Store or Google Play.

  • Log in on a computer on the NHIS page at doc.his.bg, identifying yourself with your QES.

  • Open the eRx app on your mobile device, press the red button 'Scan Code', and point the camera at the QR code on the computer screen.

  • Choose whether to use biometric protection for patient’s data accessible in the app.
