Vaccines

General Information

Module contains all administered vaccines under mandatory, targeted, and recommended immunization programs, for which records have been created in the NHIS. For each vaccine, date of administration, dose sequence, vaccine name, and disease it protects against are visible.
Vaccines accompanied by certificates have special icons from which the certificate can be visualized on a mobile device with the free eZdrave application downloaded.
Doctors submit a notification to NHIS at the start of the immunization course, as well as for each subsequent re-immunization. Each administered dose receives a unique National Reference Number (NRN), and the NRN of the previous dose is required to ensure a clearly traceable chain of administered doses. Doctors record information about the administered medicinal product, batch number, and vaccine's expiration date.

Stages of issuing an e-vaccine document

Arrow timeline
  1. 1 Doctor performs a physical examination and registers an e-examination document in NHIS.

  2. 2 After ensuring patient's physical condition is suitable, doctor administers the appropriate vaccine and registers a separate e-vaccine document, which is linked to the e-examination document.

*If the vaccine is accompanied by a certificate, it is automatically generated and available in the electronic health record in NHIS.
  3. 3 If user has the eZdrave mobile application installed on their mobile device and has enabled notifications, they will receive a message indicating that a vaccine has been administered.

In Vaccine module, user can see detailed information about the event.
  4. 4 If an adverse reaction to the vaccine occurs, the medical professional who administered it must report it to the NHIS.

*If vaccine requires more than one dose, each subsequent dose is administered after a physical examination and the creation of a new e-examination document in NHIS. For each subsequent dose of the immunization, a new e-vaccine document is created, which is linked to the previous documents.
