Electronic health documents do not cancel a visit to the doctor's office. They replace paper documents, but not the physical examination, without which the doctor cannot determine the patient's health condition, make a diagnosis, prescribe treatment, tests, and additional consultations (if necessary).
Besides talking to the patient, the physical examination includes stages that cannot be performed remotely - visual inspection, palpation, auscultation, percussion, etc. Often during the examination, the use of additional tools and equipment is required - to observe the nasal and auditory cavities, measure blood pressure, determine reflexes, etc.
Dear patients, do not expect your doctors to issue prescriptions, referrals, and other medical documents without you visiting the doctor's office. Electronic healthcare does not mean remote examination and treatment.
