The mobile application eZdrave now provides information on blood donations and a personal patient record. These new modules are part of version 2.0 of the application, which is available on the App Store and Google Play.
In the Blood Donations module, all of the patient's blood donations, available in the system of the National Center for Transfusion Hematology (NCTH), are are listed by date. Information on the donor's blood type with Rh factor is available, as well as the results of mandatory tests such as AIDS/HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, syphilis, and NAT test.
The Personal Record module contains three main categories of information: general medical information about the patient, general practitioner data, and emergency contact information. The general medical information is recorded by the patient and includes height, weight, blood type, phone number, email, and address. The general practitioner data includes the doctor's name, unique identification number (UIN), phone number, email, address, medical institution code, and RHIF. In the third section, Emergency Contacts, the patient can record information about their relatives. This information is recorded through the web version of the electronic patient record: my.his.bg/record. Each contact includes name, type, phone number, email, and address of the contact person. The "type" category can include roles such as parent, child, sibling, partner, or other. Multiple contacts can be added, and their information can be edited or removed from the category.
Version 2.0 of eZdrave also upgrades the functionalities of the existing Vaccines and Referrals modules. In the Vaccines module, the date of the next dose that needs to be administered can now be seen. In the Referrals module, information when a referral is in progress is now displayed.
Version 2.0 also includes security and stability improvements, as screen capturing of the application is no longer allowed. This is a measure to limit the sharing of personal and medical data with third parties.
